AUSTIN (KXAN) — Tonight will be mostly clear and dry with overnight lows dropping into the low 70s in Austin with widespread upper 60s elsewhere.
Thursday should be another day with sunshine giving way to a mix of sun and clouds. Once more another low (<10%) rain chance develops for the mid-afternoon through mid-evening with most of us seeing no rain at all.
We’ll continue this pattern through the weekend with lows near 70 and highs in the mid 90s.
By early next week much higher rain chances start to circle around an area of high pressure to our southwest. This rain should arrive Monday, peak Tuesday and taper off on Wednesday. Tuesday now appears to carry our highest chances of rain for the next week.
The wet weather and extra cloud-cover should also help to knock temperatures down a bit.
We’re still on track for a better opportunity for wet weather early next week. Stay tuned…
