AUSTIN (KXAN) — The air continues drying out thanks to a northerly breeze after Wednesday’s cold front. The drier air, clear skies and light wind tonight will allow temperatures to drop much cooler by daybreak.
Out the door Friday morning we’ll find widespread 60s and some 50s!
Dry air and plenty of sun will help to push afternoon highs in the low 90s, slightly above average for this time of year.
Cool mornings continue through the weekend with 50s and 60s at daybreak.
We’ll see mostly sunny skies and warm afternoons Saturday and Sunday with highs still warming into the low 90s.
Subtle warming next week, but no sign of rain for the rest of September into early October.
