AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two teams looking to go above the .500 mark in district play clash Friday at “The Palace on Parmer,” and it’ll be live on KXAN’s digital platforms.
Round Rock and Cedar Ridge kick off at 7 p.m. from the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, and both squads are 1-1 in District 25-6A, trying to break out of the logjam in the middle of the standings.

The Dragons (1-3, 1-1) find themselves in an unfamiliar place, below .500 for the season after losing three of their first four games. They are, however, coming off a 31-17 win over McNeil last week and are primed to build off of that.
The Raiders (2-2, 1-1) also won last week, picking up a 41-30 victory over Westwood. There’s no question about their offense, averaging 42.5 points per game, but they haven’t stopped anyone defensively, allowing 45.5 points per game.
You can watch the game in multiple ways: via the video player above, on the KXAN+ streaming app, or on the KXAN.com streaming page, which is typically used for Westlake games. The Chaparrals have a bye this week and will play on Thursday for the next two weeks as the KBVO Game of the Week.
Those Westlake games will not be streamed on KXAN platforms, but we’re carrying two other games to fill the void.
