AUSTIN (KXAN) — Sunday brought strong to severe thunderstorms to several counties in the Hill Country. The Austin area stayed mostly dry, with some light rain during the evening hours.
Tonight, temperatures cool to the 70s with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers. There is a low-end flood threat through the overnight hours (WPC).
Labor Day will be cooler than normal, with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. Winds will be light out of the north.
Rain chances will remain isolated, with additional localized flooding possible.
Temperatures warm up mid-week, with showers back in the forecast next weekend.
