AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Dallas Cowboys play on Christmas for the first time in 15 years, and they’ll have three games here on KXAN, including the first game of the season.

The NFL released schedules for all 32 teams Wednesday, and the Cowboys have six games in primetime, along with their traditional game on Thanksgiving. They’ll play one Thursday night game on Amazon Prime Video, twice on Sunday nights on KXAN, and twice on Monday nights.

The Cowboys open the NFL season against NFC East foe and defending Super Bowl champs Philadelphia at 7:20 p.m., Sept. 4, on KXAN, then have 10 days off before their Week 2 matchup and home opener against the New York Giants.

The first Sunday night game for the Cowboys comes in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers, and five weeks later on Nov. 3, they’ll face the Arizona Cardinals on ESPN’s Monday Night Football. Their bye falls on Week 10, and they’ll be back on Monday Night Football against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11.

On Thanksgiving, the Cowboys take on Kansas City at 3:30 p.m. on CBS, and on Christmas, they’ll play division rival Washington at noon on Netflix. Both games will come on short weeks.

Dallas plays three preseason games against the LA Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons.
