Longhorns named a finalist for one of the state’s top offensive line prospects.
The Longhorns were named a finalist for another top tier offensive line prospect earlier today. The Longhorns have been recruiting Prosper (TX) four-star offensive tackle Zaden Krempin since last summer and he has proven to be a high priority for Texas offensive line coach Kyle Flood.
Per On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Krempin has narrowed his recruitment down to four finalists, and the Longhorns are among them along with LSU, Michigan, and Texas A&M.

Krempin has scheduled official visits to all four of his finalists, which will begin with an official visit to Baton Rouge at the end of this month and be capped off with an official visit to Ann Arbor to see the Wolverines on June 20th. Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns will get their chance to roll out the red carpet and his family on June 13th.

The Longhorns have a robust big board at the offensive line positions, and Krempin is among several blue chip prospects that will make their way to Austin this summer for an official visit. With Flood looking to restock his pantry this cycle, they will be taking a fairly big class, and a player like Krempin could serve as a swing player that could project to both guard and tackle.
Krempin is ranked as the 18th interior offensive line prospect in the country by 247Sports composite rankings and is the 267th ranked overall prospect by the same metrics.
