Inside Texas recently reported that the Southeastern Conference, or SEC, seems likely to move to a nine-game conference schedule for texas-bevo-turns-10-this-week/” title=”Longhorns Daily News: Texas’ Bevo turns 10 this week”>football programs as soon as 2026.

The SEC currently plays an eight-game conference schedule, even after increasing its membership to 16 following the additions of the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners last summer.
