Plus: The hype lives loudly
Former Ohio State and Florida head coach Urban Meyer isn’t coaching football anymore.
So, he finds gigs to hang out and talk about it.
That includes Meyer’s recent appearance on Another Dooley Noted Podcast, per On3. During the conversation, Meyer said that he believes that the Big Ten is now the SEC’s football superior—notably, the Big Ten has claimed back-to-back College Football Playoff Championships, with the most recent champ beating out the Texas Longhorns to get there.
“Well, you know what the SEC’s done? It’s raised the level,” said Meyer, who’s won national championships leading programs in both conferences. “But the Big Ten has passed the SEC at the upper part. If you would have told me that 10 years ago, I would’ve said it’s not even close. Because it’s not.”
