A man was hit by a driver who later fled the West Side scene late Sunday, according to San Antonio police.
The incident happened just before 11 p.m. in the 100 block of S General McMullen.
The man, according to police, was crossing the street inside a crosswalk when he was hit by a pickup truck that later fled the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
