MySA, San Antonio’s local digital news source for all things news, restaurants, real estate, sports and more is expanding its footprint. As the publication looks to Austin, the Texas Hill Country and South Texas for new stories, MySA is also seeking writers to help cover the area.
MySA is now accepting pitches from journalists, writers and storytellers excited to capture the stories no one else is covering. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Above all else, MySA wants stories with unique voices that highlight the people in the communities people should know about.
All pitches should include a proposed headline, nut graf summarizing what the story will be about, sources that will be contacted, plans for photos, word count and deadline. MySA is a fast-paced newsroom with quick turnarounds. Most pitches should aim to be turned in the same day or the next morning, but longer pitches are welcome.
