AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, forgoing his senior season with the University of Texas.

Texas’ season ended last week in the Cotton Bowl Classic with a 28-14 loss to Ohio State.
Ewers went 27-9 as a starter for Texas, which puts him in elite Longhorns company for wins as a starting quarterback — only Colt McCoy and Vince Young have more wins.
Ewers is betting on himself with the decision to go pro. According to multiple national reports, Ewers received substantial financial offers from other programs to play college football in 2025.
NFL mock drafts are scattered when it comes to Ewers’ pro prospects. He is projected to be selected anywhere from the second round to the sixth round in this April’s draft.
