But only two Manning gunslingers made the list
Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning recently sat down with Complex Magazine, which asked the incoming redshirt sophomore to name his five favorite quarterbacks of all-time.
Manning left his grandfather and namesake, Archie Manning, off the list. However, both of his iconic uncles and a few more highly recognizable names did happen to make the list.
“We’re going to go Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Eli Manning,” Manning told Complex.
Why?
“They’re all dogs. Got completions, were winners, and just pros all around,” Manning added.
Manning will look to do the same as he takes over the outgoing starter Quinn Ewers, who led the Longhorns to consecutive College Football Playoff semifinals appearances during his three seasons under center for Texas. Now, Ewers will take his talent to the NFL Draft.
Fans will expect as much, too, given the anticipation building around his time leading Texas.
Get ready:
